The case for joining a small, AI-native prop firm.
Our capital, your autonomy.
We trade our own money. That means no client relationships to manage, no quarterly investor calls, no mandate drift. It also means your ideas get real capital when the research supports it — not when the marketing team approves.
Built for the AI era.
Not a legacy quant shop bolting ML onto an old pipeline. A new firm built from first principles for modern deep learning, foundation models, and research infrastructure. You work with the tools we actually want to use.
Small, senior, end-to-end.
Fewer than thirty people across the firm. Every researcher, engineer, trader, and analyst owns their work end-to-end — from idea to backtest to production P&L. Compensation tracks contribution, not committee, and it is paid in cash.
Quant, AI, and discretionary — together.
Systematic researchers, AI scientists, and fundamental analysts share data, infrastructure, and risk capital. Each discipline sharpens the others. Some of our best ideas come from the seams between them.
What we’re hiring for, right now.
No fixed pipeline. Honest conversations and real work.
We do not run a standardised interview process. The shape of the conversation depends on the role, your background, and what we are both trying to learn — and we trust the team to make those judgement calls.
For research and engineering roles, expect a candid first conversation, then a few hours on a problem we actually care about — chosen so the answer is interesting regardless of whether we hire you. For investment and trading roles, expect us to read your written work, hear your active book, and have you meet the team you would be sitting with.
We move quickly when the fit is real — usually weeks, not months. We close the loop honestly when it is not. Either way, you should walk away with a sharper view of your own work than when you started.
Deep focus, long horizons, good company.
We keep the firm small, the communication direct, and the calendar mostly empty. Research is a marathon of experiments — not a sprint of standups — and we structure the firm around that fact.
Work is mostly async, in-person when it matters. You will find yourself in long threads of technical detail, whiteboard sessions that go for hours, and quiet afternoons of deep focus with no interruptions.
We invest seriously in the boring things: compute budgets, market data, monitors, desks, travel between offices. The best research happens when the tools and the environment get out of the way.
Don’t see a role that fits?
Write to us anyway.
We meet interesting people all the time and hire when the person is right — not only when a job description is posted. Send us a note, a CV, a piece of work you are proud of, or just a paragraph about what you are thinking about.
